Rolling into the 2020 Mini Olympics at the legendary Gatorback Cyle Park, we were expecting to be busy throughout the week as there were rumors going around that this would be the biggest Mini O’s in the history of the event.  Even with that expectation in mind, with over 5,500 rider entries across all classes, the 2020 Mini O’s became the largest motocross event in the history of the sport. 

With record attendance numbers and the Gatorback grounds reaching full capacity levels, the overall feel and vibe of the event was incredible.  Everyone was there to ‘escape’ some of the general craziness that has been at the forefront of everyone’s minds as of late.  Riders, families, friends, and even event staff attending were all thrilled to escape some of the craziness and focus on motocross and having fun in the Florida sun for a week, making the vibe of the event extremely relaxed, positive and very cool to be a part of. 

EVS had a strong presence throughout the week and we remained busy at all times.  Whether we were helping our riders be ready for the week of racing, fitting people for knee braces or communicating/meeting new potential partners, engagement from our riders and event attendees was at an all-time high. 

That relaxed/fun vibe carried over to Team EVS riders competing throughout the week as well.  Team EVS not only performed well on the track in both Supercross and Motocross throughout the week, but made it a point to engage with us all week long and provide updates on how their week was going, what they needed, etc.  Being able to strengthen the relationship with our athletes throughout an event like this where so much high-level racing was occurring was great to see. 

The 2020 Mini O’s was a tremendous event for EVS with our riders performing well and engagement from attendees being so high.  We are grateful we could be a part of such a incredible event and already can’t wait for next year!
